How does the process work?
The photography session process is designed to be smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Here’s a general outline of how it typically works:
1. Initial Consultation
Let's chat! This is our chance to discuss your needs, preferences, and any fun ideas you have for the shoot. We'll also cover location, timing, and any particular themes or styles you love.
We'll go over the package options and what's included in each to find the best fit for your needs.
2. Booking and Preparations
Once you decide to proceed, we'll set a date and time for the session. A deposit may be required to secure the booking.
Please see the "Preparation" page for further details on what to wear and how to prepare for a photo shoot and how to get everyone (including kids and pets) ready for their close-up.
3. The Photo Shoot
On the day of the shoot, I'll arrive early to set up and scout the perfect spots.
The session itself will be relaxed and fun. I'll guide you through poses and capture a mix of both posed and candid shots. No rush, just lots of laughs and beautiful moments.
4. Post-Processing
After the session, I'll select the best images and work my magic to enhance the photos.
This process usually takes a few weeks, after which you'll receive a gallery of gorgeous images to review.
5. Viewing and Ordering
You'll have the chance to view the final images in an online gallery. Here, you can pick your favorites based on the package you chose, and order any extra prints or digital copies.
Depending on the package, you might also select images for a photo album or other custom goodies.
6. Delivery
Once you've made your selections, I'll prepare the final products. Digital images are usually sent via download link, while prints and other physical goodies will be delivered to your doorstep.
You'll receive everything ready to display or gift to family and friends.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely, it's completely normal to feel a bit uneasy in front of the camera, and you're definitely not alone in feeling this way. A good photographer will help you feel more comfortable and guide you through the process with easy-to-follow directions and support. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

How should we dress for our family session?
For a family photo shoot, its best to coordinate outfits without exactly matching, creating a cohesive look that enhances the visual appeal of the photos. Here are some tips:
1. Choose a Color Palette:
Select 2-3 main colors for your outfits, and mix in neutral tones like black, gray, or denim. This creates balance and allows the family members to complement each other without being too uniform (avoid uniformity please).
2. Avoid Loud Patterns:
Big, bold patterns can distract from faces in the photographs. If you do choose patterns, make sure they are not overwhelming and only one person wears a patterned outfit while others wear solid colors.

How many pictures will we receive?
This depends on the package you choose. The basic package will include 15-20 professionally edited digital images with an option to purchase additional images or prints.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time for a newborn photo session is usually when the baby is between 5 to 14 days old. During this time, newborns tend to sleep more deeply and curl up naturally into those sweet, cozy poses. They're also generally less fussy and easier to adjust into various positions.
Here are a few tips for scheduling and planning a newborn session:

Try to start the session when the baby is most likely to be asleep, perhaps right after a feeding. Mornings are often ideal as babies tend to be sleepier and calmer after a good night's rest.
